My take: Creating a strong lead magnet is the key to getting new subscribers. But the emails you send right after someone downloads your lead magnet is what builds trust. Jeff Felten shared the welcome sequence he uses with his clients.

My take: Nicolas Cole reminded us what are the right and wrong questions to ask yourself when trying to frame your messaging.

My take: Telling stories in your emails is the key to keeping readers hooked. Joe Portsmouth gave a really cool breakdown of how this was done in a Harry Potter movie (and how you can replicate it in your own copy).

My take: Love this thread by Ocean. I've encountered many of these same mistakes when starting my career in email (especially when it comes to not segmenting your list).

My take: Using open rates as the key metric you track? Stop doing that. Clicks, conversions, and revenue are a far better gauge on how your email program is performing. Matt McGarry educated us on some of the metrics to pay attention to.
Struggling to write good copy in your emails that convert into sales? Think you can't write storytelling emails because you have no good stories to tell?
My friend, Joe Portsmouth, just launched his brand new course called the "Storywriting Playbook" that teaches you how to build an engaged and loyal customer base by writing compelling stories that sell (even if you're new to copywriting)!
β
And Joe is so confident that his course delivers on its promise to help you make more money online, he offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
β
Make sure to act now. This course closes tonight at midnight EST (and Joe plans to up the prices when he opens it back up).
